Oral History Recordings

Oral history recordings gather and preserve the stories of individuals whose lives were shaped by the people, places, events, and ideas of their day.

By preserving and sharing these oral histories the Calhoun County Public Library hopes you will experience through first-hand narratives the impact historical events had on the people living during that time.  Hearing the stories of personal struggles and triumphs from a diverse range of personal experiences, we hope to share a fuller, more accurate panorama of the past.

If you would like to share your family's oral history recordings with the Calhoun County Public Library, contact Amy Alderman at 850-674-8773.
