The Calhoun County Public Library is a member of the Panhandle Public Library Cooperative System (PPLCS) and the Panhandle Library Access Network (PLAN) .

The Calhoun County Public Library System is a Department of Calhoun County Government and operates within its structure under the auspices of Calhoun County Board of Commissioners. The library is charged with providing library services to all residents.
